Back in November 2014, Teen-friendly television network CW made the announcement of renewing it’s highly-rated Tyra Banks-executive produced show; CW’s America’s Next Top Model, for a 22nd season. America’s Next Top Model on average is the number-one show on the CW. Last week, CW formally released an announcement of the official airing date of the 22nd cycle for August 5th, 2015.

Last season’s cycle was the follow-up season for it’s newly installed unisex competition. Introduced in cycle 20, male and female models compete for the opportunity at a modeling contract with Next Models, $100,000 Guess Ad Campaign, and spread in Nylon. ANTM has produced some of the hottest supermodels in the industry today, as well as, broke down barriers inside the modeling industry since its pilot episode aired in 2003. Eva Pigford, Yaya DaCosta, McKey Sullivan, Don Benjamin, Chantelle Winnie, and cycle 21 and first male winner Keith Carlos.

Keith Carlos (27) has been steadily busy since being named the cycle 21 winner. His most recent work included Nylon print shoot back in February, and designer shoot with Persona Custom back in March. Carlos is under the Next Models roster.
