It comes with great sadness that Model Fair must inform all on the news of the death of popular Canadian Fitness/Import model Mis Morningstar.
Unconfirmed cause of death, Mis Morningstar, born Morning Dove Meetoos, died last Thursday (July 13). News of Morningstar’s death went public as fans began flooding the Edmonton, Alberta-born final Instagram post comments with condolences. The Vietnamese print model arose to popularity through her portfolio of work in music video, tradeshows, and import modeling. Beloved in the Fitness and Import scene as former face of popular custom automotive conventions including SEMA, Extreme Auto, and Low Rider. Loved by her 158,000 social media fans, Morning was also an inspiration to many of her peers in the modeling community including high-profile photographers and models including Ela Pasion, Shaylnn Lanelle, and Janis True, and Marie Madore whom while in disbelief, remembered the late-model with memorable photos on their respective social media accounts after news of death broke.
Beginning her modeling career at 14-year-old, by 17, it became her passion. Active from 2014 to present, Morningstar was always viewed as energetic, genuine, and professional. An proud resume of pictorial, spokesmodel, and branding accomplishments, before her untimely death, Morningstar recently starred in a new music video “Stacey’s Song” by recording artist Angelo and was scheduled to host this year’s annual Bay Area Sneaker Pop-Up Show that took place last Friday in Oakland. Morning was independent model her entire career with no known previous agency ties.
Meetoos was laid to rest today (Tuesday) in Turtleford, Saskatchewan at Thunderchild First Nation.
