Former Ford Model-turned-feminist activist Amber Rose has been top trending discussion on social media in the past couple weeks after she recently uploaded a very risky photo in support of her upcoming 3rd annual Amber Rose Slut Walk event. The Orin Fleurimont-shot photo in question, shown above, is a possible “Objectifying” photo with Amber laying across a stair case, bottomless, nude but with her legs closed, and pubic hair shown. To address the backlash, the 33-year-old model is currently on a press run to speak on the photo and encourage people to come out to her upcoming 3rd annual Amber Rose Slut Walk in Downtown Los Angeles.

Amber Rose stop by the popular Dash Radio program, hosted by fellow well-established former models Melyssa Ford and Claudia Jordan, Hollywood Unlocked for an uncensored interview. The interview was sparked after the radio show had previously spoke on the confusion behind Rose’s annual empowerment walk, and offered her a chance to come up to the show to further explain her cause and to clear up any confusion on the photo and upcoming annual event. Rose accepted the invitation and visited the Los Angeles-based media outlet for an interview.

In the exclusive 3-hour long interview, Rose spoke on her arguments with other media outlets, not being a role model, looking for support from fellow models, and her modeling beginnings, and the labels she received after being in public relationships. The Philadelphia-born model has been putting modeling on a brief hiatus as she became more involved as an activistic.

Rose was released by Ford Models in 2010 after being signed to the agency a year prior. Originally discovered in 2008, her career includes being the face of popular liquor brand Smirnoff. In most recent work after a three year hiatus, Amber Rose was a spokesmodel for backless bra brand, Sneaky Vaunt.

Amber Rose’s 3rd Annual Slut Walk takes place October 1st 2017 in Downtown Los Angeles. For complete information on the annual event, visit the official Amber Rose Slut Walk website here.
