Vh1 is heading in a new direction for it’s fifth-season of popular music reality television show, Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta. Along with heading into a new direction, the show introduces new addition of cast members to the fold, receiving the most attention is high-profile Atlanta-native glamour model Amber Priddy. Amber Priddy is now the first Caucasian woman to become a cast member on the Atlanta iteration of the franchise. Priddy joins the cast of already stacked vintage glamour models that includes: Karlie Redd, Rasheeda, Mimi Fraust, and Bambi. Amber Priddy’s role in the new cast is described as being the love interest of long-time cast member recording artist Yung Joc. Although Priddy is new to the cast, she has been an highly-publicized fixture in urban modeling for over half a decade now.
The self-proclaimed “Baddest White Chick in the Game” started making headlines back in 2010. Mostly well-known for her starring role in Florida multi-platinum recording artist Plies’ 2010 hit music video, “Becky”. The Charlotte, North Carolina-born German/Irish/Italian-descent model’s hypnotizing voluptuous exterior racked up tons of print in men’s magazine. Gracing the cover of Black Men’s magazine back in 2012, her resume involves XXL, Straight Stuntin, Show, Mixed Magazine, Hips on Deck, and Hip Hop Weekly. In 2012, Priddy won “Best Assets” at the annual Urban Model Awards in Washington D.C. In 2014, Priddy hosted the Urban Model Awards in Atlanta. In the past few years, Amber has been a very frequent feature with popular model index brand, Dynasty Series. Priddy has been residing in Atlanta since 2011.
While news made rounds early-March of Amber joining the Vh1 number-one franchise, it was mere speculations, as nothing was confirmed from either Vh1 or the 36DD-25-42 framed beauty. Priddy actually later officially revealed in an announcement of being added to the cast a few days ago in a “cryptic” message on her Instagram. Encouraging her fans to check out the season premiere which aired Monday (April 4th).
She further promoted the show several hours ahead of the premiere with more secret intuition shown below.
In past interviews, the award-winning model has mentioned that she has not only been request but also took meetings with VH1 for Love and Hip-Hop the past four seasons. Shown below, back in June 2015, Priddy spoke on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta during a segment of Model Monday on Atlanta radio station show, Durtty Boyz.
Upon announcing joining the cast of Vh1, Priddy also announced she has also been casted in upcoming 2016 Shaun Mathis-directed feature film, ‘The Plug’. It has yet to be announced which episode Priddy will make her Love and Hip-Hop debut.
