It’s was December 2013 Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio last graced the cover of The Edit Net-a-Porter. Returning to the sand with the publication, the Balmain runway model gets fit for the new April cover. Strutting along the beach in front of the lens of David Bellemere.

Ambrosio is seen wearing a ponytail, with Alexander Wang sweater and Lucas Hugh shorts, Loewe jacket, La Perla bra, Koza shorts and Nike sneakers. A mesh Alexander Wang top and red T by Alexander Wang bra top. A impressive fit 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket and silver Prism swimsuit. A rag & bone jacket and crop top with Calvin Klein briefs. Not the normal lingerie setup that Ambrosio has become to familiar with as she is very fit and sporty in this photoshoot. Between takes, Alessandra talks about how becoming a mom has changed her perspective on lingerie shoots. The mother of two discovered at 15-year-old by Dilson Stein reflectingly states:

“I used to be 100% comfortable on lingerie shoots – then I had a child, and it was more of a mental shift than anything else. Somehow it felt a bit weirder to be in lingerie once I was a mum. Although I did that cover for Maxim last year [naked but for a strategically placed newspaper], you don’t see anything. When my daughter saw it, she asked, ‘Mummy, why do you have no clothes on?’ And I said, ‘Mummy actually has a G-string on – it’s just so small you can’t see it.’”
