We haven’t seen to much of popular glamour model Amber Rose on the print or ad campaign trail lately. Busy with being a activist for her Slut Walk campaign (see: Amber Rose Hosts Slut Walk), the Philadelphia model takes some time out of protesting and public speaking appearances to go sneaker shopping with Complex magazine. The 32-year-old is the latest guest on the pop culture media outlet’s ongoing series called, “Sneaker Shopping with”. There is rarely a pressing topic that Amber Rose doesn’t have a strong opinion on, and the same can be said about her love for sneakers. In the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, she connects with Complex’s Joe La Puma to go to Flight Club in Los Angeles and talk about shoes.
In the episode, Rose speaks on her sneaking game growing up being unimpressive and her father preaching that if the shoes don’t have holes in the soles, than it’s still good. She also dwells on the enjoyment that major footwear brands are endorsing female sneaker culture and the current uprising popularity known as the female sneaker revolution. Rose and Complex have an amazing history together as she has been featured in plenty of pictorials for the company’s print publication.
Rose was released by Ford in 2010 after a string of negative public incidents. Ford Models is having a breakthrough year with the ground breaking success of their client current Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Ashley Graham. Rose is currently signed in a management deal with Nick Cannon’s NCredible. Amber Rose recently starred in an episode of the popular ABC show, Black-ish and the major motion picture sequel; Zoolander 2. Now apart of the fashion technology business, Amber Rose just released her signature personality emojis known as, ‘Muvamoji’. Rose joins fellow glamour model and rival Kim Kardashian to have their own emojis.
