Below, Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing invited us to his Paris studio to tell us more about himself, the house of Balmain and #HMBalmaination. In this chapter, Rousteing talks about how fashion played a crucial part in his life.

Throughout the show, the collaboration showcased sharp and sophisticated designs. The collection prevalent structured military-inspired silhouettes, ribbed leather motorcycle jackets and double-breasted blazers. Gem-encrusted garments with boxed shoulders, cinched waists and shiny gold buttons held rich jewel tones like emerald green, sapphire blue and ruby red. Precise and conceptually detailed, which has become the normal guidelines of the Parisian luxury brand.

The Balmain/H&M collection is on sale now at selected H&M retailers and H&M.com.

In related Balmain news, Kendall and sister Kylie starred in the Balmain Fall 15′ campaign. Other model siblings co-stars included Gigi Hadid and her sister Bella, Joan and Erika Smalls and Armando Cabral alongside his brother Fernando.
