Playboy is not only an iconic publication in Adult entertainment, but the most iconic publication period. The Hugh Hefner-created publication is a world-renounced that has had the most iconic supermodels grace the cover over its 62 years span. Marilyn Monroe, Pamela Anderson, and Kim Kardashian to name a notable few.
The publication has stood the test of time and evolved with the times and became one of the longest-running publications of all-time. The publication currently distributes 46 international versions monthly, along with a website and app updated daily. Continuing to evolve, the mature adult content publication creates a brand new mobile application that is safe for the workplace.
Playboy has launched a safe-for-work app, as part of its ongoing digital makeover. Given 80% of Playboy’s traffic coming from mobile use, the company have chosen to highlight original, safe-for-work articles from their main website for the general audience. In a similar move last year, Playboy released a nudity-free app version of their magazine and relaunched Playboy.com as an advertiser-friendly lifestyle site, rather than a destination for adult content.
Featured on the latest issue of Playboy is Miss May Brittany Brousseau. The 20 year-old Brousseau is currently unsigned with an agency, but was discovered by a scout at 18 year-old in Kansas. Prior to Miss May, Brousseau starred in music videos for Afrojack and Beyonce.
Playboy also named Dani Mathers as this year’s Playmate of the Year. Before being named Playmate 2015, Mathers was featured as the May 2014 centerfold (See: Mathers New May Playmate). Mathers shot with Playboy in the past in Cabo for the May 2014 editorial (See: Mathers Cabo Shoot). The 29 year-old has modeled with the company since 2013, and currently unaligned with an agency. Mathers latest work involved a print shoot with photographer Louie Aguila for Zimmermann.
The Playboy Now app is available now on all major retailers.
